Michael V. Vollono
Mike, a lifelong Connecticut resident, has practiced law in Connecticut for over 30 years. He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut Law school and began his legal career in the early 80’s working in real estate, consumer bankruptcy and business law. About 20 years ago, Mike changed gears somewhat and began developing a family law practice. Since then, while still handling real estate and bankruptcy matters, his family law practice has grown considerably. The combination of these areas of practice has given him a unique perspective which allows him to better serve all his clients.
In family law, Mike has been trained in mediation and collaborative law. He is a founding member of the Central Connecticut Collaborative Law Group. He has also been appointed by the Superior Court to hear family cases as a Special Master in the New Britain Judicial District.
Mike has been very active in community affairs. He has sat on the boards of many community organizations. He has served as Chairman of the Burlington Charter Review Commission, as Chairman of the Burlington Planning and Zoning Commission and on many other elected and appointed Burlington town boards.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys golf, travel, guitar, gardening and rooting for the New York Mets. He is married to Zo and has two adult children, Katherine and Christopher.
