James D. Donovan

Attorney James D. Donovan was raised in Bristol, CT, and is a graduate of Bristol Eastern High School.  He received his Associate’s degree from Valencia Junior College in Orlando, Florida, his Bachelor’s degree from Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, and his Juris Doctorate from Western New England School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts. He spent his Law School years as a clerk at Hartford Superior Court.  His more than 30 years of experience in the legal system in the Bristol and Plainville areas are a great benefit to his clients, to whom he is always available to address their concerns and questions.  He is also very active in community organizations, having served as President of the Bristol Adult Resource Center and The Family Center for girls and boys, and as Chairman for both the St. Anthony School Board and the Bristol Ethics Commission.  If you need legal advice or representation for Worker’s Compensation, Real Estate closings, Criminal charges or business needs, or if you simply want to take care of your Estate planning, you can be assured of prompt and professional experience with Attorney James D.
